![]() Biographies of each member along with the circumstances of his or her death are available by visiting the Wall of Honour at K Division Headquarters, or by visiting the RCMP Veteran's Association Memorial. ![]() ![]() There are 50 members listed on the Wall of Honour. This was a millennium project, jointly funded by the RCMP Veterans Association of Alberta and the March West Committee, to honour members of the Northwest Mounted Police (NWMP), Royal Northwest Mounted Police (RNWMP), and RCMP who sacrificed their lives in the performance of their duties, while serving in Alberta or the geographic region which is now Alberta, prior to the formation of the Province in 1905. The Wall of Honour was erected in the public lobby of "K" Division Headquarters, and officially unveiled during a dedication ceremony January 5, 2002. The Wall of Honour was established in recognition of those members who lost their lives while on duty in Alberta Territory since 1874.
